Terms of Service

1. Who we are

YouRequestNow ("we", "us") operates www.yourequestnow.com and the related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or sending a request you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 to create a band or venue account, and at least 13 to use the Service as a fan.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password private.
• One person may manage several bands; each band is billed separately.

3. Requests, tips and boosts

• A tip or boost is a voluntary payment from a fan to a band. It does not guarantee that a song will be performed.
• Payments are processed through the band's connected Stripe account. YouRequestNow charges no platform percentage on tips, boosts, or supporter payments. Standard Stripe payment-processing fees are the band's responsibility and are deducted by Stripe.
• Tips are final once the payment succeeds, except as described in our Refund Policy.
• Bands must be live and actually performing to accept paid requests. We may refund payments taken outside a live set.

4. Subscriptions

Band plans start with a free 14-day trial. The band plan is $19.99 per band per month after the trial and renews monthly until cancelled from Backstage → Billing. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

5. Fan lists, texts and email

Bands may message fans who have opted in through the Service. Bands agree to message only about their own shows and music, to honor STOP/unsubscribe immediately, and to comply with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and local law. We may suspend messaging for abuse.

6. Photos, clips and lyrics

• Fans who upload photos or clips keep ownership but grant the band and YouRequestNow a license to display them on the Service. A clip is only public if the fan consents and the band approves it; fans can withdraw consent at any time.
• Bands must have the rights to display any lyrics they publish to fans. Lyrics marked for on-stage use only are not shown to fans.
• Anyone may report media; we remove content that violates these terms or the law.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to harass, spam, scrape, impersonate, launder money, or break the law. Don't interfere with the live-session or payment systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability during a show. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
