Refund policy

Short version: tips are gifts to the band and are final once sent, but we'll make it right if something clearly went wrong.

Tips and boosts

When you tip or boost a song request, you are sending money to the performing band. A tip is a voluntary gift, not a purchase of a guaranteed performance — bands do their best, but they can't promise every song gets played. For that reason tips and boosts are non-refundable once the payment succeeds.

We will refund a tip in these situations:

  • You were charged more than once for the same request.
  • The band's set had already ended (or the band was not live) when the payment was taken.
  • A technical error on our side meant the request never reached the band.
  • The band itself chooses to refund you from their Backstage dashboard.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Refunds may be partial where a portion of the tip was already paid out.

Band subscriptions

The 14-day trial is free and needs no card. Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancel any time from Backstage → Billing and you keep access until the end of the paid period. We don't prorate partial months, but if you were billed after cancelling, we'll refund that charge in full.

How to ask

Email support@yourequestnow.com with the band name, the approximate time of the payment, and the last four digits of the card. We answer within one business day. You can also open a dispute with your card issuer, but contacting us first is almost always faster.
